Uptown Saint John Receives OBIAA Award of Excellence for Local Love

We’re excited to share that Uptown Saint John BIA has received a 2026 OBIAA Award of Excellence from the Ontario Business Improvement Area Association for Local Love: A Business-Led Placemaking & Pride Initiative, recognized in the category of Streetscaping & Public Realm Improvements.

Launched in 2025, Local Love brought together businesses, community partners, and placemaking efforts across Uptown through storefront displays, shared storytelling, and street banners that celebrated local pride and connection.
