Uptown Saint John is excited to welcome 162 Princess Street Tattoo, a new business member of the Uptown Saint John BIA. Opened in December, this traditional tattoo studio brings decades of experience and a deep respect for classic tattooing to the corner of Princess and Sydney streets. Owners Lenny Johnson and George Keclík recently moved from Fredericton after visiting Saint John and really liking the atmosphere, architecture, and friendly neighbourhood feel, something Lenny says the streets reminded her of Montreal.
Between them, George and Lenny bring nearly 40 years of tattooing experience. Both specialize in traditional tattoo styles, with Lenny also known for floral work. Inside the shop, exposed brick walls are lined with beautifully framed tattoo flash, vintage-inspired artwork, and antique furniture, giving the space a warm, welcoming feel.
This Spring they’re also planning something special; the other half of the space will be transformed into a cozy antique shop, adding another layer of charm to this Uptown corner.
Always happy to see you here, 162 Princess Street Tattoo is a wonderful addition to the neighbourhood and to the growing creative community that calls Uptown Saint John home.
