Uptown IS your Grocery Store

Uptown is proud to show off every section of a typical grocery store, all within walking distance!

Uptown is your community grocery store and so much more.
However, we are not JUST a grocery store..

Here is where you can get a custom reusable bag that you are proud to carry, over and over.
Here is where you can ask the fishmonger about the freshness of the days selections.
Here is where you can still get a little sliver-sample of cheese before you buy.
Here is where you run into others you know and chat for awhile – maybe grab a coffee, before your next stop.
Here is where items are refreshed daily, and pride is put into the displays. Presentation mean a lot.
Here is where you can ask for something, just the way you like it. And, get it with a smile.

Here is only where. Only Uptown.

Please note:

This is NOT everything! Uptown is home to ANBL (our provincial liquor store), as well as MANY restaurants which sell convenient take-away, ready-made foods. A good number of our independent retailers sell speciality grocery items such as teas, ice cream, soaps, candy, etc. The purpose of this post is to appreciate all of the ‘sections’ of a typical big-box grocery store, here on our uptown streets. Quality, local, and sold by friendly neighbourhood business owners. Thank you for supporting uptown!
