The first Bad Words For a Good Cause comedy fundraiser of the year is here — and it lands right around my birthday, so I stacked the lineup with some of my favourite comedians in New Brunswick for a night of big laughs, community vibes, and real impact.
This show proudly supports Street Team SJ, a local nonprofit doing front-line outreach in Saint John and Sussex. As the cost of living crisis, rising rents, and food prices continue to hit harder, homelessness is becoming more visible across our region.
Street Team SJ meets people where they are — providing food, essential supplies, trust, dignity, and consistent support to those facing real challenges.

Headliner: Michelle Lynn Petite
A household name in NB comedy — Michelle gains fans every single show and always brings the room with her.
Host: Josh Kotsabasakis
One of the hottest rising comedians in New Brunswick. Also a local pro-wrestling announcer, Josh has opened for Tom Green and James Mullinger and knows how to keep the energy high all night.
Guest: Shane Ogden
The godfather of New Brunswick comedy. Over 20 years of crushing stages across the province.
Guest: Martin Bowmaster
After a comedy hiatus, Martin is back — picking up right where he left off.
Plus more killer performers to make this a packed night of stand-up comedy and community support.
