Flag Raising for Rainbow Equality

Momentum Canada’s Rainbow Week of Action (May 11 to 17) activates advocates and allies across Canada to urge elected officials and governments at every level to take action for rainbow equality and against hate. (Momentum Canada)
To conclude Rainbow Week of Action, 2SLGBTQIA+ folks and allies in Saint John are invited to join Chroma NB for a Pride flag raising at Saint John City Hall for International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT).
IDAHOBIT was established to commemorate the 1990 decision of the World Health Organization to remove homosexuality from its International Classification of Diseases. We will gather to celebrate and reaffirm progress made by the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and also acknowledge the work left to do to obtain true equality.
