Welcome New Business: Volt Scooters

Volt Scooters

You can now zoom around the Uptown area (at a suggested 25 km per hour) with Volt Scooters. Oscar Ochoa opened up their new location on Germain street a couple of weeks ago. They have 30 plus scooters available for rent by the hour. These electric scooters, after the battery is charged, are good to motor around for a few hours.

You can reserve one online or just come in (debit & credit accepted, no cash). Before you start, they’ll give you a quick lesson and safety instructions, and helmets are available to use if you want one. After that, you are free to explore the Uptown and Saint John area. They recommend driving on the side of the street (similar to bicycles). They operate seasonally, opening each spring and closing mid-fall.
