The art installation on the Germain Street Fence is now complete, and it’s not just a pretty face! We recognize the importance of a place to showcase upcoming events. This fence wall, though it is a fine work of art, is still the perfect place to showcase events – posters, now framed by the vibrant colors of the beautiful geraniums.
The design is custom created by brilliant local artist, Abi Reinhart, and sponsored by Historica Development. The Uptown Saint John Business Improvement Association was pivotal in getting this complete, coordinating the project and doing the the prep and finishing work, including giving the fence a top coat for longevity, and an important coat of anti-graffiti solution.
What an exciting project – beautiful, and still functional with lots of space to add relevant promo posters throughout the year!
