We are excited to welcome the newest culinary delight, JLM Patisserie, to Uptown Saint John! It was recently opened on Princess Street by the talented pastry chef Jessica MacKenzie, who has over a decade of experience across Canada. She and her baker, Courtney Squires, specialize in custom cookies, cake slices, cheesecakes, and wedding desserts, all made from scratch with the finest ingredients.
They create custom desserts for individuals, corporations, and restaurants. She believes the final course should be as memorable as the first. As dessert is a super important part of a meal, and it should be delicious!
The kitchen has a Class 5 license, the only one within city limits, allowing it to lease its space to other chefs. They are slowly providing this service to bakers who need a licensed kitchen for outdoor festivals and other events.
You can stop in on Wednesdays when they are open to the public for pop-ups. You’ll find a selection of cheesecakes, cookies, scones, and other tasty treats!
