Uptown Saint John just welcomed its newest coffee shop! RotiCana Cafe is located in Market Square beside the NBM Boutique on the main level. They serve a great selection of hot drinks; drip coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, espresso, teas, and Turkish coffee. What makes all their types of coffee extra special is they roast their own beans right here in New Brunswick!
Their roasting facility, Roticana Coffee Company, is in Fredericton. Owner/Operator Mohamed Khirallah has been searching for the perfect place to open his first cafe. So he was very please when he discovered an availability at Market Square. Along with selling fresh coffee he also sells bags of different types of roasted beans and a selection of Turkish Coffee so you can brew your own at home.
They also serve up some tasty cold drinks too, Lemon-Mint Frost, Guava-Milk Frost, and Coconut-Milk Frost (this one is starting next week). These house-made signature drinks are made using fresh ingredients. If you have a sweet tooth definitely try their different kinds of house-made Baklava and cinnamon rolls. Next week they will be adding house-made samosas to their menu.
