Owner and Artistic Director, Marcia Dysart, is a professional dance artist and an American Ballet Theatre Certified Teacher. Her school recently opened their doors and started classes in the historic Fire Hall building, with a history dating back to 1891.
Just inside those front doors is a delightful waiting room that leads to their studio. This room is a beautiful large open concept with large mirrors along the wall, an elegant chandelier, and bright windows that offer a lot of natural light.
The style of dance they offer is primarily contemporary ballet, with classes that focus on the foundation techniques and building artistry from there. This non-competitive school teaches many different dance styles such as Jazz, Tap, Choreography Lab and more. Their diverse programming includes Toddler Moves and Grooves, Yoga, and Adaptive Dance (designed for children with physical and neurological disabilities). It is a lovely addition to Union Street.
