What’s in the Box?

The Saint John Art Centre’s popular fundraiser is back for 2024 to answer the burning question, ‘What’s in the Box?’!

Join us Thursday, April 18, 7-9pm, for an entertaining evening of delicious food, fine drink, and an opportunity to support your community arts centre!

During the event, you’ll have a chance to purchase artwork by local artists. You can choose to fill out a ballot (or more than one) for a chance to purchase a “mystery box” for $100. Each box contains an original artwork donated by one of over 50 professional artists. Don’t worry if your ballot isn’t drawn, maybe you’ll see a work you’d like to own in the one-night-only exhibition of works by our generous donor artists!

Tickets are available online or in-person for $75 each. Funds from this event support our programs, including our important Artists’ Rights Fees program, to support the artists who share their works in the SJAC galleries. A $25 tax receipt can be issued for each $75 ticket.
