Sam Tudor a& Pallmer at the Saint John Arts Centre

Fredericton’s Pallmer is embarking on a Maritime tour supporting Toronto/Vancouver artist Sam Tudor.  Sam Tudor is an individual, but also the title of a project involving a large group of friends across Canada. The underpinnings of the songs are genre-less; jazz players join forces with acoustic guitars and gentle synths. What unifies the project is Tudor’s distinct voice: a sandy, melancholic narrator, leaning in with confessional and cathartic writing. The Georgia Straight calls the band “a gem, with a penchant for genuine emotion, intimacy and everything left field”.

This tour will close out two years of tours and shows supporting Pallmer’s debut album “Swimming.”  Nodding to next steps, the shows will feature sneak peeks into new songs from a forthcoming release.
