Pride Flag Raising for International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia & Transphobia

2SLGBTQIA+ folks and allies are invited to join Chroma NB for our annual flag raising in celebration of International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia.
We will be gathering in front of Saint John City Hall on Friday, May 16th (one day early due to the weekend) at 12:30pm for speeches, a reading by a local poet, and of course raising the Progress Pride flag.
IDAHOBIT was established to commemorate the 1990 decision of the World Health Organization to remove homosexuality from its International Classification of Diseases. We will gather to celebrate and reaffirm progress made by the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and also acknowledge the work left to do to obtain true equality.
