Clean Sweep
In the Spring, the Uptown Saint John BIA organizes a 1.5 hour Uptown neighbourhood clean-up with the Uptown Businesses. The volunteer teams start at King’s Square in the morning to check-in.
The City of Saint John’s Green Machine provides all necessary supplies, including gloves, garbage bags, and safety jackets. Let’s come together to keep our Uptown neighbourhood beautiful and clean. See you there!

Last Uptown Clean Sweep
Our Uptown Saint John BIA crew hosted Clean Sweep in May 2025. We had 93 volunteers from 12 community businesses came to help clean the Uptown area. Together, everyone collected and removed 820 lbs of garbage!
