There’s something special about seeing the community come together to care for the place they love. This year’s Uptown Clean Sweep brought together 100 volunteers from 13 community-minded businesses who joined the Uptown Saint John BIA team for a morning of cleaning, connecting, and giving back to the neighbourhood. Together, volunteers collected and removed litter from streets, sidewalks, and shared public spaces throughout the Uptown Saint John BIA area.
From sweeping sidewalks to picking up debris and sharing plenty of laughs along the way, the day was a great reminder of what can happen when local businesses and community partners work together.
