UPTOWN BURGER WEEK – THE STORY AND HISTORY

Can you even imagine no Uptown Burger Week? It’s almost impossible. Let’s think back ten years. A young professional gent with dreams of burgers and burgers and burgers, had an idea. He made his way to the Uptown Saint John Business Improvement Association with a vision of an Uptown Burger Week. He came continually, actually, persistently and often… and he didn’t give up. We were intrigued, and with his help, we pulled together our inaugural Uptown Burger Week in May of 2014. 13 Uptown restaurants had their chefs slap out burgers that satisfied the masses. Uptown Burger Week was born, and we haven’t looked back. The beginnings of the Peanut Butter Burger. The famous Dessert Burger. Sliders, Veggy, Fish, and Foul – we have had it all! Our uptown chefs aim to please and, yes – we will continue to eat it up! We are happily 10 years, and counting!

PS ..thank you, Trent. You are legendary and our burger bellies are grateful!
