All Welcome!\n\n\nCome along and discover New Brunswick’s Forgotten 17th Century history!\nThis Canada Day\, Nova Hollandia reenactment will be taking over Place Fort La Tour and bringing its history to life. Come along and discover the lives of French settlers and fur traders at the mouth of the Wolastoq river in the 1640s. We’ll be discussing life in the early 17th century\, the food they would have eaten and the weaponry they would have been equipped with.\nIn addition to populating the fort\, there will be dedicated weapons display and a 30min talk with ‘Arms and Armour of the 1600s’ at 11:00 am and 2:00pm!\nSchedule!\n11:00-11:30am ‘Arms and Armour of the 1600s’\n12:30-1:30pm Live Maritime Celtic Performance by Keith Facey!\n2:00-2:30pm Arms and Armour of the 1600s’\n\nour Bay-of Fundy inspired gift shop will be open and more!!\n\n//\nRejoignez-nous pour une journée entière d’événements le 1er juillet de 10h à 15h ! ENTRÉES GRATUITES ! Tout le monde est le bienvenu !\nVenez découvrir l’histoire oubliée du Nouveau-Brunswick au 17e siècle !\nÀ l’occasion de la fête du Canada\, la reconstitution Nova Hollandia prendra possession de la Place Fort La Tour et fera revivre son histoire. Venez découvrir la vie des colons français et des commerçants de fourrures à l’embouchure de la rivière Wolastoq dans les années 1640. Nous parlerons de la vie au début du 17e siècle\, de la nourriture qu’ils auraient mangée et des armes dont ils auraient été équipés.\n\nEn plus de peupler le fort\, il y aura une exposition d’armes et un exposé de 30 minutes sur les armes et les armures des années 1600 à 11 h et à 14 h !
