Musical direction by Henry Koperski. \nIn a statement\, Cumming said\, “I’ve got to know Ari over the last few years\, both socially and when he interviewed me for a couple of events. The last time was an evening in D.C.\, and by the end of it I realized our chemistry and the unusual combo of us\, as well as the fact that Ari has an amazing voice\, would make for a really great cabaret show. And kapow! We’re doing it! What I love most is it’s fresh and ever-changing.” \nShapiro added\, “When Alan first suggested that we create a show together\, I didn’t quite believe him. Then as we started to dig in to this collaboration\, I realized how much our professional lives actually complement each other. We’re both storytellers who try to help audiences better understand themselves and the world around them. This show lets us explore those shared ideals on stage together\, through stories and songs.”

DESCRIPTION:Tickets on Sale now!\n📅Saturday March 30th\n⏰️8pm doors open at 7pm\n💸 $20 (taxes incl.)\nPurchase online—–>\nhttps://www.eventbrite.ca/o/punch-lines-comedy-club-73322710133\nOr Text 506-647-8338 and pay by etransfer. \nBorn on the banks of the Mighty Miramichi River\, Jimmy MacKinley has been a performer\nsince 2006 after landing his first role in New Brunswick short film Mailbox Romance for\nwhich he took home the Best Actor Award at the Silverwave Film Festival.\nAfter being cast in a variety of roles in a number of shorts and feature films as well as a popular music video by Classified\, he later discovered his next passion; standup comedy.\nIn October 2011\, he took the stage for the first time at an open mic comedy night at Wilser’s Room in Fredericton\, NB. He was nervous but kept at it month after month\, writing new material and developing his act. His hard work started to pay off a few years later after being\nhired by comedian Gerry Dee to join him on his New Brunswick Stand Up Tour 2 years in a row. This led to performing a nationwide broadcast with CBC Radio One on their comedy show Laugh Out Loud as well as selling out the historical Vogue Theater 6 times in his\nhometown of Miramichi.\nIn 2019\, he was cast in Trailer Park Boys\, produced in Halifax Nova Scotia. The showpremiered on Swearnet January 1st\, 2021 and will be moving to Amazon Prime in 2024.\nJimmy now stars in 2 national comedy TV shows with Bell FibeTV\, including The Canoe Project\, in which he is the series lead and is now streaming on Bell TV1.\nMost recently\, Jimmy co-created and stars in a new comedy TV series about the restaurant industry\, O’Don’s\, streaming now on Bell TV1
