SUMMARY:Cardboard Boat Race – S.W.A.M. Fundraiser Event
DESCRIPTION:Teams of 4-5 will have 20 minutes to construct a boat using only cardboard and duct tape. After the build time\, the team will place the boat in the water\, and one team member will be placed in the boat with the goal of traveling across the pool as far and as fast as they can with by their hands or any additional equipment available. Prizes will be awarded to the team with the fastest and farthest travelled boat and the best designed boat. Entry to watch the event is by donation and there will be lots of delicious food at the concession stand! Only cash and e-transfer will be accepted. $25 to register a team of 4-5 via e-transfer to saintjohn@swamcanada.ca.
