No prior quilting experience is necessary – our friendly hosts will guide you through the process. All supplies will be provided. \nBy taking part in this workshop\, you will not only learn a new skill but also contribute to a powerful symbol of remembrance and healing. The AIDS Memorial Quilt is a testament to the strength and resilience of communities affected by the AIDS epidemic. \nEach quilt square is dedicated to someone that has passed due to AIDS related complications. Their stories and lives were beautiful\, unique and they deserve to be shared. We ask that each participant shares a story of someone who has passed from HIV/AIDS – this could be someone you knew personally\, or someone who you can read about. \nDon’t miss this chance to connect with others\, share stories\, and pay tribute to those we have lost.
