This walk feature John Nathanial Leavitt the ghost of Dead Man’s Cove\, who was lost in the sinking of the barque Genii during the Saxby Gale of October 04\, 1869. He will be sharing stories of how he has interacted with ghosts all up and down the Fundy shore in attempting to get someone to take him to be buried with his buddies who are all at rest in graves in Mascarene. This 1.5-hour program will feature a costumed ghost\, and he has a number of stunts that help illustrate his story as we walk Water and Prince William Streets overlooking the harbour. We will set out from the Partridge Island Publishing Bookstore in the Container Village and through characters stationed on nearby streets\, and through storytelling\, learn of at least 10 ghosts that have haunted Saint John from 1800 to the present day on the 1.5-hour tour.
