SUMMARY:Paint Your Pet!
DESCRIPTION:Award-winning host\, Corinne Monique\, invites you to enjoy a fun-filled night out creating art at a local hotspot. This paint and sip party will be guided step-by-step by a local professional artist and your party hostess for the night. Whether you’re looking for a fun girls’ night out\, a unique date night experience\, or you’re looking to meet and connect with people from all over the city\, this is the perfect mix of fun and creativity! \nThis is a no-stress event and there’s absolutely no experience necessary. Everyone from beginner (read: stick-figure artist) to advanced will get a chance to creatively express themselves and have a good time. All supplies are provided. The drinks are up to you! \nThis is a chance to have a custom pet portrait painted by you! This event will be a little different than our regular events as each guest will have a unique pet painting to create. Seats will be limited and the instructor-to-guest ratio will be lower than our regular events to ensure you have optimal one-on-one instruction in addition to general instruction. Corinne will assist in the selection of your palette\, answer any questions you have\, and offer suggestions if needed\, but this will be your unique creative endeavour. You’ll work at your own pace\, not along with the rest of the attendees. We will supply extra pre-mixed colours in addition to our usual primary selection. \nPlease arrive at or before 6:45pm to register and get settled in as painting will begin at 7:00pm. \nEvent Length: it will only take about 2 hours to complete your ready-to-hang masterpiece! \nCost: $60.00 – includes guided instruction\, a prepped 16×20″ ready-to-hang canvas\, acrylic paint (water-based)\, use of brushes\, easels\, and smocks. \n*If you would like to paint more than one pet ON ONE CANVAS\, the cost is $10.00 per additional pet. Each pet needs its own time and attention for painting (just like in real life!). Please email us here if you would like to paint multiple pets on your canvas. \nDress code: while it’s important to look cute\, painting can get messy – dress accordingly. \nLimited seating – book your seat now! \n**Upon purchasing your tickets\, you will be asked to attach a high quality\, clear\, well-lit\, digital colour photo of your pet(s*) – preferably a close-up taken at eye level and we will do the rest. All you will need to do is decide on a background colour! Each photo will be transferred onto a 16×20″ canvas and Corinne will walk you through the steps to create your very own custom pet portrait! \nBased on your photo\, we reserve the right to crop the image to a headshot\, prep the canvas horizontally or vertically\, and limit any detail in the background of the photo you provide. Any pet can work! Dogs\, cats\, birds\, bunnies\, iguanas\, show us what you got! Starting with a good photo is important! Send us a few shots if you like and we’ll choose the most suitable one. DESCRIPTION:We’re back and we are better then ever. Bad Words for a Good Cause is being done to assist in outreach projects with waterloo villages own Soapbox Preacher. He helps put those in need in touch with those that can help.His Facebook lives have shed light on the problems in the village and he actively particpates in every way to try to make waterloo village a better place for everyone. \nThe show comes back to the place many shows call home the legendary Wasted Day Brewing. Producer Cive Lucas has assembled a line up he has been quoted as saying is “one I am most proud of”. Hosting is sensation Josh Kotsabasakis\, he is burning up the scene. His hilarious vibe becomes infectious fast and with amazingly relatable stories he will have you in tears laughing. Adam Blanchard is a fast riser on the NB comedy scene and with new Dad jokes and incredible stories he is a killer way to open any shoe but we have the man with a name that goes on forever David Myles Holland Hall. He is a regular at Punchlines and on shows all over the province. His delivery style is uniquely his in the best possible way and he elevates every show he is on to another level of funny. Our Headliner Chris Hovey is the funniest person in New Brunswick comedy. He puts on a master class of comedy every time he is on stage. See him tonnight then go on Spotify and add him to your library with his JFL recordings. He has performed with comedy legends like Debra DiGiovanni and Kenny Vs Spenny. Tickets are 20 dollars but if you buy in advance they are 15 dollars .With the help of Waterloo Village Advocate The Soapbox Preacher part of every ticket will support Forward House.
