DESCRIPTION:Choir! Choir! Choir! is a Toronto-based singing group led by creative directors Nobu Adilman and Daveed Goldman. The duo takes a non-traditional approach; there are no auditions\, and the audience is the choir! Show up and they’ll teach you an original arrangement to a song you LOVE. \n“Choir! Choir! Choir! has fashioned a profound way for people to connect and interact” – The New Yorker \n“Choir! Choir! Choir! has grown into a national phenomenon by tapping into a need that people share – and have few opportunities to actually do – joining together\, opening their hearts and raising their voices in song.” CBC \nFounded in 2011\, Choir! Choir! Choir! has amassed a dedicated and passionate community of singers and a thriving international fan base on YouTube amassing millions of views on some of their videos. \nThe group has performed with renowned artists such as Patti Smith\, David Byrne\, Rick Astley\, Tegan and Sara\, and Rufus Wainwright\, and onstage at New York’s Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall with the likes of Debbie Harry and The Flaming Lips. SUMMARY:Theresa Malenfant & Scott Medford
DESCRIPTION:ECMA winner Theresa Malenfant and renowned guitarist Scott Medford have become one of the most popular blues duo acts in the Atlantic Provinces. They have been performing together in a band for years\, but decided to work as a duo only 6 years ago. In that short time they managed to win second place in an International Blues Challenge (IBC) held in Memphis Tennessee. \nTheresa and Scott have an intuitive way of working with each other\, and the mutual respect and admiration for the other’s abilities is evident from their stage performance. \nTheresa Malenfant has earned the nickname “Queen Bee of the Blues”. When you hear the first note you’ll know why. And she personally selected Scott Medford to be her guitarist. That speaks volumes about his level of playing. \nAn incredible evening of music you’ll not soon forget!
