Choir! has amassed a dedicated and passionate community of singers and a thriving international fan base on YouTube amassing millions of views on some of their videos. \nThe group has performed with renowned artists such as Patti Smith\, David Byrne\, Rick Astley\, Tegan and Sara\, and Rufus Wainwright\, and onstage at New York’s Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall with the likes of Debbie Harry and The Flaming Lips. They’ve created content for NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar with Hamilton’s Brandon Victor Dixon. And they they’ve performed at the MET in New York for New York Pride and hosted their own float in Toronto Pride. They have been performing together in a band for years\, but decided to work as a duo only 6 years ago. In that short time they managed to win second place in an International Blues Challenge (IBC) held in Memphis Tennessee. \nTheresa and Scott have an intuitive way of working with each other\, and the mutual respect and admiration for the other’s abilities is evident from their stage performance. \nTheresa Malenfant has earned the nickname “Queen Bee of the Blues”. When you hear the first note you’ll know why. And she personally selected Scott Medford to be her guitarist.
