DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow Saint John community members at Haven Music Hall for candid conversations about the social\, political and cultural systems that affect us. Society is divided between the few who dominate and the many who are dominated. This division is the product of the core structures that define our society (i.e.\, systems of oppression). A team of panelists will explore ideas around these systems of oppression and connect them to basic needs\, gender\, race\, and environmental issues. We start with a half-hour of socializing\, then we spend an hour of silent reading.
