DESCRIPTION:We have new yarn from Shetland and we think you should love it as much as we do\, so we’re hosting a competition! \nThere is only one rule: You must use either Jamieson and Smith 2 ply Jumper Weight or Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift yarn only (or both!). If you have some in your stash\, that’s fine to use. If you don’t have any\, we’ve got all kinds of colours to choose from. \nWe’ll accept submissions as soon as they’re ready and up until May 15 at 5pm ADT. \nYou can submit online or drop off your cosy in person and we will display it in our store window. We’ve even got our neighbouring business owner Anne at The Feel Good Store to agree to show off some of your creations. \nWe’ve convinced avid knitter and Mayor of Saint John\, Donna Reardon to be our judge. \nThe grand prize winner will win $100 gift certificate from Good Fibrations. The prizes for other categories will include a $25 Gift Certificate for Good Fibrations plus a prize package from The Feel Good Store. \nThe following categories will also receive prizes. \nMost Colourful\nMost Ingenious\nBest use of a theme\nViewer’s Choice – this will be an online and in person vote open to anyone who wishes to cast a ballot. DESCRIPTION:On May 30th the Entrepreneurship and Business students at Saint John High School will he hosting an event called Hounds Around Town. We have been working for many weeks to prepare to welcome over 5000 cruise ship passengers to Saint John. We have partnered with The City Market and various uptown businesses in hopes of highlighting the great things that can happen when partnerships are formed. \nOne of our main features for the tourists are custom tours throughout Uptown where we will take them to local businesses identified on our custom maps. We will be making hundreds of copies of these maps and giving them out to tourists as they disembark from the boat.
