SUMMARY:BBBS 18th Annual Big Book Sale
DESCRIPTION:Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saint John is back again with the annual Big Book Sale\, which will start Saturday\, August 19th and run through August 21st to the 25th on the Main Level of Brunswick Square. All proceeds and donations will be used to support BBBS youth mentorship programs in our community. The hours will be Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm\, and Saturday 10am-5pm. All books will be priced at 2$ each\, with all forms of payment accepted! Mystery bags will also be available and can be purchased by using the QR code on the poster\, 5 for 8$ or 10 for 15$\, with limited genres. \nVolunteers are always welcome for book sorting or helping with the big sale!\nContact devin.borden@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca or call our main office at 506-635-1145.

This 2021 Juno Nominee has performed at the prestigious invitation-only Just For Laughs festival an impressive six times. He had filmed a gala set for HBO at the festival where he received a standing-ovation at the city’s 3\,500 seat Place des Arts. This led to an invitation to perform at that year’s Nasty Show.\nDerek’s has many other televised appearances and festivals under his belt and had appeared on CBC Radio’s\, “The Debaters” more than twenty-five times and recorded two episodes of CBC television’s\, “The Debaters”.\nWhether he’s ragging on politics or describing life with his children\, he brings us into his perspective without preaching any selfish point of view. His undeniable charm makes him simply fun to watch and listen to and is in large part why he is one of Canada’s most “in demand” comedians.
