Golden Dog Beer Tours Inc.- Begins at Picaroon’s General Store

Our focus is on local beer.  You will be amazed at the variety of flavours you are available to try, all coming from nearby producers who have turned this small and humble province into a leader in the brewing industry.  Beer will be paired with samples of local food, chosen to compliment the beer.

Take a guided walk with us in Uptown Saint John amongst the historic architecture and friendly people in the heart of the city.  We will be stopping at local establishments sampling their finest beer they can put forward, meeting new friends and sampling local food along the way.  You buy the ticket and we work out the rest.  All beer and food sampled along the way is included in your ticket price so all you have to do is relax and enjoy the beer.

All of our tours will begin at Picaroons General Store, in the heart of Uptown Saint John.  From there we will move to different locations in the area to seek out the best beer. The guide will keep the tour on track making sure everyone makes it to all the stops.

Imperial Theatre – Just Like A Woman – Songs of Bob Dylan

Come celebrate the release of  Just like a Woman – Songs of Bob Dylan – Jessica Rhaye’s sixth full-length album, and first with backing band The Ramshackle Parade. This rollicking folk-rock interpretation of Dylan’s classics and hidden gems transcends the concept of a simple tribute album. The result is a fun folk-rock album with psychedelic undertones, with folkie ballads, a conversation between rockabilly and swing, and engaging new interpretations of the Master’s works.

🎶Just Like a Woman will be an evening of professionals performing live together – – true to the recording style of Dylan’s earlier work. Members imagined working in the style of Dylan in Woodstock, the days of the Basement Tapes.🎶

SPECIAL GUESTS include – Brent Mason, Grant Heckman, and Adam Kierstead

Jessica Rhaye is an award-winning singer/songwriter/graphic artist and local artist with a career spanning 20 years, and a list of accolades including a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination, multiple East Coast Music Award nominations, and Music New Brunswick awards. Jessica has graced many prestigious stages including the National Arts Centre, Stan Rogers Folk Festival, Mariposa Folk Festival, Canadian Music Café, Hotel Café, Half Moon Putney and many more.

New Brunswick Pre Afro Fest

The New Brunswick Afro fest is the biggest African festival in Atlantic Canada.. Last years’ 3rd annual NB Afrofest in Dieppe/Moncton was a great success. More than 1000 people joined us from different communities across Canada to celebrate our diversity and cultures. Artists from here and other Canadian cities such as Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto came to Dieppe to perform and showcase their talent giving the crowd a taste of the African culture and heritage. This year, as we prepare for the 4th annual celebration in October, we would like to start the celebrations here in Saint John. The vision of the New Brunswick African Association is to become a leading community organization that is proactive and innovative in planning, developing, and delivering programs that will meet the needs of the African community in New Brunswick.

Our work is guided by a commitment to the following core values:

-Partnership and capacity building.

-Foster a united African voice in the Canadian public arena.

-Trusting each other and providing a foundation of working with integrity.

-Maintaining a transparent and accountable governance process.
