Rogers tv is about coming home. It’s about what matters to Canadians, right in their neighbourhood.
Rogers tv is a place to share. It’s about getting to know each other in the place we call home.
Rogers tv informs, entertains and gathers. In hundreds of communities, our 41 community channels are where you turn to reconnect. Each Rogers tv community station operating in Ontario, New Brunswick and Newfoundland is an active and involved member of its city or town, providing timely and relevant programs about local matters. Our programming is authentic, sometime unpredictable and always local. And it’s what we love to do!
In 2015, Rogers tv produced 16,000 hours of hyper-local programming. This programming featured 27,400 individual community groups, underlining our commitment to our communities and to the objectives of the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission’s policy for community-based media. And we also helped train 2,300 volunteers. Volunteers work side-by-side with our professional staff, developing programming for their respective communities.
