Uptown Saint John ‘Meter for Change’ Donation to Harbour Lights

Uptown Saint John is happy to celebrate a donation of $483.50 to the Harbour Lights Campaign.  This money was collected from our ‘Meter For Change’ parking meter on Germain Street.  Thanks to everyone who slipped in a bit of change over the past few months – it all adds up to an impressive amount – going to an important cause.  A big thank you also goes to the Saint John Parking Commission for partnering with us on this on-going project.

Happy Holidays!

Business Improvement Association provides free salt/sand to its membership for the winter months!

Uptown Saint John Business Inc, the Business Improvement Association has placed eight Salt/Sand boxes throughout the BIA as a pilot project.  There will be no cost to the uptown membership for the sand/salt who will also receive a hand scoop for ease of use.  This is a joint effort with the sidewalk plow operators to help keep the ice manageable during the upcoming winter season.
