Artist and Graphics Designer, Kevin Goggan, can now be found in our historic Saint John City Market. Kevin’s inviting space showcases his own work, along with a few other artists in the form of both original pieces and copies. A popular item for sale this time of year is his 2019 Calendar, featuring a variety of his work for every month. You can find Kevin at his stall in the market daily, and may even catch him at work if you are lucky! Welcome uptown, Kevin!
Uptown Saint John and the restaurants who participated in our Chop Chop Fall 2018 Restaurant Week were thrilled this afternoon to present a cheque for $6,267 to Lunch Connection. This amount represents $1 per every Chop Chop dish sold by all restaurants during our recent fall restaurant week.
For Lunch Connection, each dollar provides one meal for a child through this program. Lunch Connection organizers are very appreciative, once again, of this significant and generous donation. Find out more about Lunch Connection here.
Thank you to our event sponsors, Uptown Saint John Inc., 97.3 The Wave, Country 94, Picaroons, Mirage Foods, and Summertime Industries.
Thank you to the uptown restaurants and chefs who always present us with delicious and unique Chop Chop offerings.
BIG thank you to everyone who ate out during Chop Chop Fall Restaurant Week. Know that your indulgence during the week is helping to bring satisfied and full bellies to some very deserving kids. Watch the video showing the significance of Chop Chop and how WE FEED KIDS.

The Saint John City Market is now home to Bubbles & Balms – specializing in essential oils and organic self-care items. Husband and wife team, Justin and Judith, have moved back home after establishing this business out west and are being very well received in Saint John. Judith and Justin make all of the naturally scented products by hand and a chat with either of them at their shop will point you in the right direction. That’s if you happen to get past where your nose points you – there are some wonderfully aromatic items at Bubbles & Balms in the form of bath fizzes, body butters, bubble truffles, natural deodorants and much more.
Stop by for some Christmas gifts or stocking stuffers and welcome Bubbles & Balms to the neighbourhood!
