Welcome Home Pho & Sip | New Business in Uptown Saint John

Uptown Saint John is excited to welcome Home Pho & Sip, a new member of the Uptown Saint John BIA! Husband-and-wife team Liam Nguyen and Lina Tran recently moved to Saint John from Vietnam and have opened Home Pho & Sip on King Street. Through authentic Vietnamese food, handcrafted drinks, and warm hospitality, they’re creating a place where everyone feels at home.

The name Home Pho & Sip reflects the feeling they hope every guest experiences. As they put it:

“We hope Home Pho & Sip becomes a place where people can enjoy delicious food, quality drinks, and feel at home. To us, ‘Home’ isn’t just our name, it’s the feeling we hope every customer experiences when they walk through our doors.”

That welcoming spirit is reflected throughout the menu. Pho is at the heart of the restaurant, with broth slowly simmered for about eight hours using beef bones, traditional Vietnamese herbs, and aromatic spices before being paired with fresh ingredients. Guests can choose from grilled chicken, shredded chicken, or beef ball pho, each served with that rich, comforting broth.

Alongside the food is a colourful drink menu with something for everyone, from fresh fruit drinks and classic milk teas to brown sugar creations, slushes, and Lina’s favourite – matcha. Their signature Taro Brown Sugar drink has quickly become a customer favourite.

Whether you’re stopping in for a comforting bowl of pho, trying bubble tea for the first time, or looking for a new lunch spot, Home Pho & Sip is a wonderful addition to the Uptown community. We hope you’ll stop by, say hello, and give Liam and Lina a warm Uptown welcome.
