Being the oldest incorporated city in Canada, and the largest city in New Brunswick, Saint John has deep roots. Uptown is home to many diverse business interests including a growing IT sector, a large legal and financial base serving the Province, education and a variety of specialized retail and service based businesses. There are a variety of new developments on the horizon that will soon bring additional vitality to the area.

Uptown residents are fortunate to have a wide variety of housing options and amenities at their doorstep.  If historic character is what you like, then you have to see our Trinity Royal Preservation Area. New condominiums are being planned overlooking the Saint John Harbour.  The new Cruise Terminal is a hub of activity during cruise season as well as being a grand venue for many gala events and functions.

Not surprisingly, given the unique mix of historic atmosphere, Maritime hospitality, conference facilities and innovative communication technology, uptown Saint John has become a premier convention destination.
