Titanic – Atlantic Canadian Connections

The New Brunswick Historical Society presents Titanic Society of Atlantic Canada – Atlantic Canadian Connections. This free presentation by Titanic Society President, Deanna Ryan-Meister (Halifax, Nova Scotia) will include information about the Titanic Society, provide examples of Titanic, White Star Line and Cunard Line-Halifax connections. Deanna will also highlight the many Titanic-related sites around the city of Halifax and area as well as Titanic connections to each of the Atlantic Provinces. A 30-minute documentary entitled ‘City of the Dead: Halifax and the Titanic Disaster’ will be shown which was filmed and produced in Halifax by two Titanic Society board members that further describes the Titanic-Halifax connections. This presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.

Please join us for this first-time presentation in New Brunswick on Saturday, July 8, 2017 in the New Brunswick Museum’s Mary Oland Theatre in Market Square. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. All welcome. Proudly sponsored by the Chipman Hill Suites.
