What do you get when you put 4 talented individuals together under one roof to make art and share their works? ..You get a space overflowing with both differing and complimentary visual art pieces and a vibe that is sensually enthralling. The Art Collective recently opened their doors at 162 Union Street, and if you are looking for something maybe a little different and gritty/fine, do stop by. The four artists who share this space are Chad Beddow, Justin Beddow, Alison (Allie) Davidson, and Austin Holland, and they invite you to visit, view their art and have a coffee and chat with them. If you are lucky, you may find them in creation mode, each utilizing their own studio room in house as well. Also lending another unique energy to this space is portrait artist/sculptor Majed Abies.
We welcome this wonderful gallery and look forward to enjoying their talents uptown!

It’s almost impossible to imagine the uptown scene without John Thomson. John lives, works, and plays uptown, and can often be found serving up pleasures at Britt’s Pub and Eatery, out for a run, keeping up to his lovely’s dance moves, or slugging down a brew somewhere. We dare you to stump him on any ale trivia, this guy knows his stuff – a beer connoisseur, if you will.
John is an important piece of our uptown personality – a man of few words with a smile to charm your socks off. We raise a glass to him today!
