Business Opportunities related to the Saint John Cruise Industry

Jeff Meister from Onboard Media will be visiting Saint John on April 23 & 24, he is the Sales Manager for the onboard shopping program offered on all Carnival and Princess ships that call here this season (for a total of almost 100,000 passengers). He sent me the attached and has outlined the following tools they offer:

1.?????? Port & Shopping Show
A live talk with attendance of 300-500+ guests. This talk gives the guest an overview of where to shop, dine and visit.

2.?????? Shopping Map
A map that is distributed at the show, to each stateroom, and as guests disembark the ship. This map features the shopping and dining ashore, with an informational overview of each client. You?ll typically see guests walking in stores and around town with this map in-hand.

3.?????? Ports-of-Call Book
A book that is placed in-cabin, divided by port, promoting the clients ashore ? where to shop, dine, and visit. This book is heavily read onboard.

4.?????? In-Cabin TV
Live TV promoting the clients ashore.

5.?????? Collateral
Each participant on the program can provide collateral for the shopping ?Rack card? stand onboard.

Jeff is looking to meet with local businesses and retailers to tell them a bit more about the program and to also get to know more about our retail industry in Saint John, since Carnival & Princess call here so often.
