Barbours General Store has just celebrated its grand reropening today, June 21st. The historical museum at the foot of King Street is no longer just a museum. While it still houses historical artifacts, it now sells a wide range of local New Brunswick products such as King Cole Tea, spices, nut butter, Crosby Molasses, Ganong chocolates, Magzy's popcorn, candy, maple syrup and “Tea” shirts (hand died in King Cole Tea). It is also home to a new tea room which serves hot tea and coffee, iced tea and tea slushies. The mayor and many more were in attendance during the ribbon cutting ceremony this morning.
