December at the New Brunswick Museum

Come visit one of the ongoing exhibits at the NBM this December 4th to January 3: Beyond the Garden Path: Tapestry Art by Susan Vida Judah (Know Your Own Artists): More than a dozen Victorian and Edwardian chairs upholstered with elegant tapestries inspired by Judah's own garden and memories of her years in Jamaica. SMILE! The Tooth and Nothing but the Tooth Never has the world of teeth and dentistry been more fun and informative and no appointment necessary! Learn what teeth are made of, how they grow, what they are used for, and how the teeth of animals vary from one species to another. The Smile! traveling exhibition is co-produced by the Centre exposition de la Universite de Montreal and the Exhibition Production Centre of the Museum de la nature et des sciences in Sherbrooke. William Forrestall A collection of over 25 paintings by Fredericton artist William Forrestall examines the theme of still life in this timeless collection spanning the past twenty five years. Accompanying publication William Forrestall available from the Museum Shop. Portraits: New Brunswick Painters, 1970-2000 A new exhibition presented by the New Brunswick Museum, features thirty painters who lived, worked and exhibited in New Brunswick during a period of tremendous growth in all the arts of New Brunswick, from 1970 to 2000.
